JTHS will be administering the PARCC Assessments to students in grades 9-11 and any seniors in a PARCC tested course from April 19th-April 26th. Please read the following information regarding testing.
Tests will be administered following the schedule below:
Wednesday, April 19 English Language Arts, Unit I
Thursday, April 20 English Language Arts, Unit II
Friday, April 21 English Language Arts, Unit III
Monday, April 24 Mathematics, Unit I
Tuesday, April 25 Mathematics, Unit II
Wednesday, April 26 Mathematics, Unit III
Seniors (who are not in a PARCC tested course) with their own means of transportation may report to school at 9:15 on testing days. Seniors should enter the building only through the main entrance as testing will be taking place throughout the building. Once in the building, seniors will sign-in and wait in the auditorium until the conclusion of testing. Any senior arriving to school prior to 9:15 should report directly to the auditorium. Students and staff will follow a modified version of the delayed opening schedule after the conclusion of testing. If you have any questions regarding the upcoming PARCC testing, please do not hesitate to contact your child’s counselor, Mrs. Nadler, or me.

Congratulations to Mr. Januszeski and our talented students who finished in 2nd place this weekend at the FIRST Mid-Atlantic District Seneca Event. Out of 37 schools, Team Falcon 2600 placed number two and qualify for the championship round being held in a few weeks in Bethlehem Pa.
Maintaining a 4.2 GPA and being involved in honors and high honors classes at Jefferson has placed Ashley Hutchinson in the top 10 of her graduating class of 264 students. She has also received the Presidential Award and the Falcon Scholar Award, and was chosen as a Morris County Scholar Athlete.
Congratulations to the Jefferson Township High School Debate Team! During the 2016-2017 North Jersey Debate League season, the team truly distinguished themselves. At the February 16, 2017 Championship held at West Morris Central, the Jefferson Township High School Debate team received six awards for the season. We are especially proud of the Jefferson Township High School Debate Team’s performance at the Championship Round. The Negative Team qualified for the final debate of the day and won Second Place Team of the League. Additionally, during the season Jefferson had one tournament win earning a first place win at the Round 2 Tournament held at Roxbury High School on November 18th with 7 wins and 1 loss.
